Meet Jodie, one of our dedicated support workers here at Assist Community Services. Jodie has been in the support work field for two years, following seven years in youth work that closely resembled her current role. Her favourite part of the job is the opportunity to meet different people and build meaningful connections. Jodie finds motivation in knowing that she can make a positive difference in the lives of those she supports. No two days are ever the same for Jodie, which keeps her job exciting. Her advice for anyone is straightforward and was given to her by her dad: "If you can work, you do." When she’s not working, you might find Jodie geeking out over Ninja Turtles—her car’s dashboard is a tribute to her love for them, something that brings smiles to her participants. Her favourite movie? You guessed it—Ninja Turtles! When asked what her favourite podcast is, Jodie responds, Steve Austin Broken Skull podcast, where she draws inspiration from the stories of wrestlers who overcame tough beginnings to achieve success. We’re lucky to have someone as passionate and creative as Jodie on our team! Comments are closed.
