Meet Misayo, one of our dedicated team members! Misayo's journey began at Foodworks on Magnetic Island, where her roots lie. Inspired by the desire to impact day-to-day lives, support work became her calling - a fulfilling role she'd long aspired to.
Choosing Assist Community Services was a natural step, guided by positive recommendations from a friend. Despite childhood dreams of becoming a flight attendant or an AFLW star, Misayo's path led her to support work, aligning perfectly with her passion for helping people. Outside of work, Misayo embraces an active lifestyle, hitting the gym six days a week, running, and engaging in indoor soccer. A book enthusiast, she cherishes works by Sarah J Mass, Rebecca Yarros, Julie Kagawa, and Holly Black. Surprising everyone, Misayo is fluent in Japanese - a hidden talent that adds to her diverse skill set. Motivated by friends, family, physical activity, and a love for a healthier lifestyle, Misayo finds joy in the company of her cattle x border collie, Neo. Looking ahead, Misayo's bucket list is brimming with exciting goals. She dreams of living and working in Europe, learning Spanish, mastering sign language, picking up a new sport, and exploring Japan with a friend at the end of the year. With Misayo's energy and passion, there's no doubt she'll continue to make a positive impact on our team and the community we support. Comments are closed.
