Assist Community Services promotes the implementation of person-centred approaches to planning and practice to support people with disability to develop and maintain their skills and independence, and to have a lifestyle based on their own interests and aspirations. All our supports are tailored to suit each participant, their needs and wants, this is done through the support pathway.
The support for individuals offered by Assist Community Services recognises the diversity and choice of each individual, family and their carers.
The concept of flow was explored when Aalden Pennington trained to be a Wheel of Wellbeing facilitator.
